Alan "Al" Pingle

LEIPSIC – Al Pingle, 63, of Leipsic, died Friday, March 29, 2024, at Wexner OSU Medical Center in Columbus. He was born July 19, 1960, in Lima to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Crawfis) Pingle. On November 9, 1985, he married Jane Schroeder, daughter of Norm and the late Marilyn Schroeder.

Al is survived by his wife, Jane; 3 children: Stephanie (Bobby) Rodriguez of Leipsic,  Amanda (Adam) Warren of Leipsic, and James (Ana) Pingle of Findlay; 2 grandchildren: Alivia Warren and Alexis Pingle; 4 siblings: Dan (Cheryl) Pingle of Pandora, Dennis (Terry) Pingle of Clinton, TN, Beth (John) Herman of Hinkley, Ohio and Tim Pingle of Glandorf. He was preceded in death by his brother: Bart Pingle.

Al was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and its Holy Name Society. He was employed by Mars Petcare in Leipsic as a scheduler, formerly served on Leipsic Village Council, was on the Leipsic Fire Dept, and was a member of Leipsic Eagles. He loved going to Amish country with his wife.  His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Al enjoyed traveling to different wineries and Pingle weekends.

Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Steve Schroeder, Deacon Tom Niese and Deacon Ben Valdez officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8  p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, where a scripture service will be held at 1:45 p.m. on Monday, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church Parish Life Center, Leipsic.
