Alan Piotrowski

OTTAWA – Alan Piotrowski, 68, of Ottawa died 6:29 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Mercy Health St Rita's Medical Center.  He was born January 15, 1954 in Lima to the late Mike and Janina (Sczymkovich) Piotrowski.  On January 27, 1973, he married Debbie Frey, who survives.

Also surviving is a son, Shane (Christine) Piotrowski of Ottawa; 2 granddaughters:  Somer and Faith Fenstermaker; 5 great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters:  Christine (Larry) Ellerbrock of Ottawa, Julie (Gary) Bolyard of Bellefontaine and Mary Piotrowski of Ottawa.

Alan retired from Degan Excavating, Lima and had previously worked for E. J. Meyer and Sons Construction, Ottawa.  He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa.  He enjoyed working in his yard and doing drywall and plastering work.  He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Alan's funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Scott Kramer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
