Alice Louise Haughn

OTTAWA -- Alice Louise Haughn, 90 of Ottawa died 3:22 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born October 12, 1927 in Hamler to the late Harry and Lucinda (Swihart) Creager.  On September 3, 1950 she married Earl E. Haughn, who preceded her in death on June 12, 2008.

Alice is survived by 3 children:  Gary (Nancy) Haughn and Cynthia "Cindy" (Leroy) Patrick both of Ottawa and Nancy (Bob) Fortman of Findlay; 9 grandchildren: Brandon (Trisha) Haughn, Chad (Vicki) Haughn, Brooke (Mike) Gerten, Trent (Jordan) Haughn, Logan Haughn, Ryan (Carrie) Patrick, Derek (Carrie Jo) Patrick, Jessica Fortman and Ashley Fortman; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters-in-law:  Gail Creager of Florida and Ardith Haughn of Traverse City, MI.

She is preceded in death by a son: Don Haughn; 2 brothers:  Don Creager and Orvil Creager; 2 brothers-in-law: Edward Haughn and John Haughn; 3 sisters-in-law:  Lucy Creager, Izoa Creager and Lucille Creager; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Joyce and Roger Lenke.

Alice was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa.  She was a homemaker and had retired from Phillips, ECG, Ottawa.  She had also worked for Campbell Soup, Napoleon.

The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa with Pastor Kathleen Hayes and Alice's nephew, Pastor Jim Creager officiating.  Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.  Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice or to Trinity United Methodist Church.
