Alice L. Alexander
Ottawa - Alice L. Alexander, 82, of Ottawa died 12:00 a.m., Tuesday,  January 20, 2015 at her residence.  She was born April 14, 1932 in Michigan to the late Elery and Vera (Verbryke) Rice.  On May 23, 1953, she married Karl E. "Woody" Alexander who died March 25, 2011.
Alice is survived by her children: Diana (Ron) Saum of Ft. Jennings, Jeff (Sheila) Alexander and Beth Warnimont both of Ottawa, Kristine (Bob) Williams of Leipsic and Matthew (Lindsay) Alexander of Findlay; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister: Dorothy Gay of Beaverdam; and 3 sisters-in-law: Roxie Rice of Auburn, NY, Betty Rice of Texas and Barbara Neiford of Leesburg, FL.  Alice is also preceded in death by: a grandchild: Johnathon Andrew Saum; 3 brothers: John "Francis" Rice, James "Pete" Rice and Calvin "Gene" Rice and a brother-in-law: James Gay.
Alice was a homemaker.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa and its United Methodist Women.  She enjoyed going to Lake Erie and fishing, puzzle books and playing games on computer.
A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa with Pastor Lynda Lockwood officiating.  Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and one hour prior to service at church on Friday.
Memorials maybe given to the Trinity United Methodist Church or the charity of donor's choice.
