Alice O. Wolke

Glandorf -- Alice O. Wolke, 77, of Glandorf died 1:05 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2016 at St. Rita's Inpatient Hospice.  She was born October 20, 1938 in Kalida to the late Urban and Agnes (Meyer) Warnecke.  On June 6, 1959 she married Bernard C. Wolke, who preceded her in death on January 6, 2010.

Alice is survived by her 4 sons:  Karl Wolke, John Wolke and Gary Wolke, all at home and Daniel (Alicia) Wolke of Noblesville, IN; 3 grandchildren:  Benton, Lauren and Rowan Wolke; 3 brothers:  Don (Sue) Warnecke of Lima, and Bob (Carolyn) Warnecke and Art (Pat) Warnecke, both of Kalida; 2 sisters:  Betty Borgelt of Shelby and Margie (Raleigh) Forsthoefel of Celina.

She is preceded in death by a brother: Wilfred (Margaret) Warnecke and a brother-in-law:  Jim Borgelt.

Alice was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.  She was a member of the Ottawa Eagles Ladies Auxiliary where she was the last member of the Drill Team and had served as both the Outside Guard and Treasurer.  She had been a member of the Ottawa VFW Ladies Auxiliary as well.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Tony Fortman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8pm and again on Tuesday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where a scripture service will be held at 2 p.m. and a parish Rosary service will be held 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
