Alicia R. Ferguson
LEIPSIC - Alicia R. Ferguson, 37, of Leipsic died at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 11, 1977 in Lima to Joseph C. and Rose (Rhine) Snyder. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Leipsic. On October 16, 2004 she married Steve Ferguson who survives in Leipsic.
Also surviving are 4 children: Rebecca Snyder, Kayla Ferguson, Paige Ferguson, and Breyden Ferguson all of Leipsic; 2 sisters: Rachel (Jerry) Averesch of Ottawa and Kris Snyder of Leipsic; and a brother: Jeff (Amanda) Snyder of Perrysburg.
Alicia was a self-employed Massage Therapist. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic. Alicia was a very kind hearted positive person who loved spending time with family. She enjoyed watching them grow and supporting them in their activities. The connection and love her and her husband had was undying. Her passions involved caving, repelling and scuba diving. She also was very in touch with nature and loved freeing her mind by taking walks in the woods. She loved taking trips to hocking hills and would visit as often as she could. She also was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Alicia was always there to brighten the lives of those around her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic where there will be a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family.
