Amy Elizabeth Heebsh

GLANDORF – Amy Elizabeth Heebsh, 52, of Glandorf, passed away at 6:21 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus surrounded by her family. She was born December 20, 1972, in Lima to Jerry and Anne (Ahman) Warnecke. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Ottawa. On June 20, 1998, she married Brian Heebsh, who survives in Glandorf.

Other survivors include three children: Alex Heebsh of Tucson, AZ, Eric Heebsh of Columbus, and Lauren Heebsh of Glandorf; two siblings: Mike Warnecke of Menomonee Falls, WI and Sara (Ben) Meyer of Ottawa; and six nieces and nephews: Elana, Alyssa, Elle, Quinn, Landon and Jacob.

Amy was a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and The Ohio State University with a Masters in Education. Amy was an elementary school teacher for Elida Schools. She helped to guide children and their families. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf. Amy loved spending time with her friends and family, especially going on adventures.  Remember Amy as you loved her. Happy to see you, diving into the "funner" that she always could find or create herself. A huge, beautiful smile, a warm and genuine hug, and the love that radiated from her that she carried within her soul throughout her entire life.

Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Matt Keller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and 2 to 6 p.m. on Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
