Amy E. Noffsinger
CONTINENTAL - Amy E. Noffsinger, 83, of Continental died at 8:48 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at The Meadows of Kalida.
She was born May 3, 1930 in Paulding County to the late Charles and Matilda (Klima) Yenser. On September 3, 1947, she married Dallas J. Noffsinger, who died March 5, 1994.
She is survived by a son: Donald (Debbie) Noffsinger of Continental; a daughter: Wendy Jo Matthews of Continental; a daughter-in-law: Debra Noffsinger of Ayersville; 8 grandchildren: Dana (Kelly) Noffsinger of Canal Winchester, Darren (Miranda) Noffsinger of Dupont, Derrick (Erin) Noffsinger of Continental, Jason (Mary) Matthews of Dayton, Shannon (Denise) Matthews of Cloverdale, Alex (Bekah) Matthews of Lima, Tony Noffsinger of Findlay, and Jessica (Mike) Herge of Continental; 5 step grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 22 step great-grandchildren; a step great-great-grandchild; and 3 sisters: Emma "Katie" Brown of Charloe, Evelyn (Skip) Schlegel of Paulding, and Viva Brown of Nappanee, IN.
She was preceded in death by a son: Dale E. Noffsinger; a son-in-law: Wayne Matthews; a step grandchild; a step great-grandchild; 3 brothers: Gayle, Walter, and William Yenser; and 2 sisters: Virginia Doster and Lucille "Lucy" Dangler.
Amy was a homemaker and worked at Continental News Review for 45 years. She attended Christ United Methodist Church, Continental. She was a bowler at Lucky Lanes, Continental and attended Oakwood School.
Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Charles Schmunk officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
