Anita S. Smith

OAKWOOD – Anita S. Smith, 59, of Oakwood, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Paulding County Hospital, Paulding.  She was born December 13, 1964, in Pikeville, Kentucky to Dallas and Burma (Johnson) Coleman.  On September 25, 2004, she married Tim A. Smith, who survives in Oakwood.

Anita is also survived by her mother: Burma Coleman of Oakwood; two brothers: Ronnie (Jennifer) Coleman of Defiance, and Mark Coleman of Oakwood; and four nieces:  Madison Coleman, Raylen Heath, Leigha Smith, and Janae Smith.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dallas Coleman.

Anita worked at the Wood U Skating Rink, Oakwood for 25 years.  She loved spending time with family, especially cooking with her nieces.  Anita also enjoyed fishing.

Private services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood.
