Anna E. Martin
BELMORE – Anna E. Martin, 96, of Belmore died at 10:27 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Sunrise Senior Living in Findlay. She was born January 6, 1916 in Belmore to the late Ed and Cosa (Peterson) Spangler. On July 3, 1934 she married William H. Martin who died June 7, 1978.
She is survived by a brother: Stanley Spangler of Holland; 2 sisters: Juanita Geiser of Arkansas and Elmolie McMillian of Holland; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a son: William H. Martin, Jr.; 2 daughters: Vivian Eidt and Virginia Stitzel; 3 brothers: Emery, Johnny, and Donald Spangler; 4 sisters: Mildred Hathaway, Edna Snell, Gladys Prizbeyliske, and Evelyn Spangler; and a granddaughter: Ellen Robinson.
Anna worked at GTE Sylvania, formerly of Ottawa, for 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Findlay; the Rebecca Lodge; Bay End Manor Bowling League; and Sylvania's Quarter Century Club.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Aaron Kaukonen officiating. Burial will follow in West Belmore Cemetery, West Belmore. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Bridge Hospice of Findlay.
