Anna C. Landwehr

OTTOVILLE – Anna C. Landwehr, 78, of Ottoville died 6:40 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.  She was born July 3, 1939 in Putnam County to the late Alphonse and Agnes (Blum) Utrup.  On December 27, 1958, she married Louis Landwehr.  He died October 1, 1997.

Survivors include three sons: Dan Landwehr of Ottoville, Dave Landwehr of Ottoville and Doug (Sandi) Landwehr of Summerville, SC; two granddaughters: Samantha Landwehr and Kassidy Landwehr; eleven brothers and sisters: Margaret Koester of Ottoville, Barbara (Bill) Kroeger of Delphos, Cecelia (Jim) Friemoth of Delphos, Minnie (Gordon) Moenter of Delphos, James (Carol) Utrup of Wilmington, Bernard (Rita) Utrup Delphos, Agnes Klaus of Delphos, Beatrice Dundas of Ottoville, John (Paula) Utrup of Columbus Grove, Mary (Tom) Say of Lima and Helen Friemoth of Newberry, SC; and two brothers-in-law: John Turnwald of Ottoville and  Richard Siefer of Cloverdale.

She was also preceded in death by four siblings: Dolores Turnwald, Mel Siefer, Joseph John Utrup and Gertrude Utrup; and three brothers-in-law: Ralph Koester, Gary Klaus and Dave Dundas.

Anna was a 1957 graduate of Ft. Jennings High School.  She was a teacher's aide in the Ottoville Schools for over forty years and a former secretary of the Ottoville Park Carnival Board.  Anna was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and its Altar Rosary Society, church sacristan, funeral liturgy committee, extraordinary communion minister, prayer line and home bound visitor.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville.  Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ottoville.  Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township (on the corner of US 224 and 634).

Memorial donation may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to the Ottoville School.
