Arthur T. Landwehr

GLANDORF - Arthur T. Landwehr, 74, of Glandorf died at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at The Meadows of Ottawa. He was born October 14, 1941 in Lima to the late Henry and Bernadette (Siefker) Landwehr. On June 29, 1963 he married Jean Ann Nichols who died January 29, 1990.

He is survived by two children: William J. Landwehr and Sheila (Jerry) Dickey, Jr. both of Ottawa; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren: two brothers: Hank (Sherry) Landwehr of Florida and Jerry (Dorothy) Landwehr of Ottoville; and a sister: Marcile Kehres of Ottoville. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Otto and Louis Landwehr, and a brother-in-law: Carl Kehres.

Art was retired from Ford Motor Company, Lima. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf and the Lima Eagles. Art enjoyed playing cards, listening to music, and dining out, but some of his favorite things to do were traveling, fishing, and gardening.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 14, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
