AUDREY M. GERDEMAN
LEIPSIC – Audrey M. Gerdeman, 89, of Leipsic, died 1:33 p.m., Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at The Meadows of Leipsic.  She was born March 29, 1925 in Riley Township to the late Clayton and Mary (Kiene) Windau.  On October 29, 1950, she married Elmer H. Gerdeman.  He died January 26, 2003.
Surviving include 4 children: Jane (Marvin) Smallwood of Van Wert, Donald Gerdeman of Findlay, Thomas (Penny) Gerdeman of Leipsic and Carl (Diane) Gerdeman of Bowling Green; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Barton.
She was also preceded in death by brothers and a sister.
Audrey was a homemaker and farmer.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic.  She loved to write poems about her family and friends, was an avid gardener, and enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 14, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Very Reverend George Wenzinger officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic.
