Barbara Sue Vance

OAKWOOD - Barbara Sue Vance, 66, of Oakwood, OH died in Alabama on April 25, 2017. She was born October 11, 1950 in Knoxville, TN to the late Twenty and Dosha (Eldrige) Colwell. On September 10, 1966 she married Clinton Vance who died December 25, 2015.

She is survived by a brother, Larry Colwell of Cecil, OH; a sister, Edith Cain of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Franklin A., Freddie B., Kenneth, Kermit, Lester, and Charles Keith Colwell.

Barbara was a member of Missionary Baptist Church, Junction, OH.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Pastor Denny Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Oakwood. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
