Barbara R. Lause

BRYAN - Barbara R. Lause, 66, of Bryan, formerly of Glandorf, died 5:38 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at Promedica Hospice, Sylvania. She was born October 30, 1949 in Lima to Charles  "Red" and Kathryn (Strauer) Meyer. Her father is deceased, her mother survives in Ottawa.

Also surviving are two children: Dean (Amy) Lause of Louisville, KY. and Stacie (Sophia) Lafayette-Lause of Toledo; two grandchildren: Matthew Lause and Amanda (Scott Hoffer) Lause; a great-grandchild: Alyssa Hoffer; and two sisters: Brenda (Randall) Kuhlman of Leipsic and Beverly (Dennis) Korte of Ottawa.

Barb graduated from Ottawa-Glandorf High School and received her Associates Degree from Northwest State Community College where she worked as a lab assistant and teacher. She volunteered at the Humane Society and had three cats of her own: Kit, Boodle, and Cookie. Barb was a member of St. John the Baptist, Glandorf, Catholic Ladies of Columbia.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 8, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. John's Cemetery, Glandorf. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a Parish rosary at 7:30 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Williams County Humane Society.
