Barbara J. Marone

GILBOA - Barbara J. Marone, 69 of Gilboa, died 7:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at her residence.  She was born June 22, 1951 in New York to the late Armando and Elizabeth (Ross) Zona.  On April 18, 1977 she married John J. Marone, he preceded her in death August 14, 2005.

Barbara is survived by her children: Lynn Zona of Tiffin, Lisa Defriese of Copperas Cove, TX., and Christopher Zona of Daytona Beach, FL; five grandchildren: Jory Zona, Aryanna Zona, Lilyanna Zona, Brayden Defriese, and Sheyenne Defriese; her brothers: Michael Zona of Orange Beach, AZ, Richard Zona of Ovid, NY., and Cheryl Mandigo of NY.; and several nieces and nephews.
