Beatrice H. Potter

OTTAWA – Beatrice H. Potter, 97, of Ottawa, passed away at 1:27 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born January 9, 1925 in Lock Haven, PA to the late Walter G. and Dorothy (Linn) Heverly.  On January 2, 1946, she married Lewis Milton "John" Potter.  He preceded her in death in November of 1995.

Survivors include a son, Jon (Clare) Potter of Springfield.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Linn Heverly; and four sisters: Jean Heverly, Jan Heverly, Joan (Dr. William) Joy and Joyce Heverly.

Beatrice was a homemaker and worked some manufacturing jobs in her younger years.

There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa with Pastor Marcella Ciccotelli officiating.  Burial will take place at a later date in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.  The arrangements under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
