Bernard O. Snavley
OTTAWA - Bernard O. Snavley, 71, of Ottawa died 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at The Meadows of Kalida.
He was born August 27, 1942 in Paulding to the late Doyle and Doris (Font) Snavley. On July 13, 1963, he married Carolyn S. Hull who survives in Ottawa.
Survivors also include two sons: Robert (Debra) Snavley of Findlay and Steve (Amy) Snavley of Ottawa; two daughters: Linda (Donald) Ankney of Paulding and Becky Snavley of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren; a brother: Bruce (Carolyn) Snavley of Ottawa; and two sisters: Janice Schroeder of Defiance and Judy Clementz of Cloverdale.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Joyce and Susie Snavley.
Bernard retired from Philips, Ottawa. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and hunting. He was a Cincinnati Bengals fan.
Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2013 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Rev. James Fry officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
