Obituary

Bernardo "Weekend" Rincon
NORTH BALTIMORE - Bernardo Rincon, 40, of North Baltimore, formerly of Leipsic, passed Tuesday, April 23, 2013 6:29 p.m. at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born February 26, 1973 in Bluffton to Mrythala (Emiliano) Chavez-Calderon who survives in Waco, TX and Reynaldo Rincon who survives in San Antonio, TX. Bernie also leaves behind 1 sister: Belyna (Rolando) Rodriguez of Leipsic; 2 brothers: Leonardo Rincon of San Antonio, TX and Emilio Calderon of Waco, TX; maternal grandparents: Pedro and Josefina Chavez of Leipsic; his loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; and last but not least his close personal circle of friends to which he referred to as his extended family. He was preceded in death by a cousin he loved dearly, Leroy Chavez and his paternal grandparents.
Bernie was a 1991 graduate of Leipsic High School. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic. He was employed at Best Buy Distribution Center, Findlay since its inception. Bernie was a loyal Steelers fan, a hardcore Harley Davidson fan and was known as the "Big Kahuna" to Wetzel aficionados. He was a self-employed "Charming Bootyologist" hopelessly devoted to Mariah Carey. All who knew Bernie knew he was one of the kindest, gentlest, big hearted guys alive, filled with love for everyone. He loved to make people laugh, he loved to bust out a tune at the drop of a dime, and be a shoulder for anyone who needed one. He got along with everybody and was always willing to help lend a hand with bike runs, especially Eagleson's Wish Runs, benefit events for people in need, and was a huge supporter of the veterans and POW's. Bernie never met a stranger, and many had the pleasure of enjoying his company. He lived everyday like it was his last, a free spirit that anyone who knew him had the privilege of experiencing his celebration of life. He will be deeply and sadly missed by everyone he came in contact with. He is gone but will never be forgotten, "The Warrior" will live in our hearts forever.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. George Wenzinger officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 2 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic where there will be a rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Eagleson's Wish Run.
