Bill A. Tracy

LIMA - Bill A. Tracy, 73, of Lima, formerly of Continental died at 2:20 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Lima Memorial Hospital. He was born September 7, 1944 in Putnam County to the late Howard and Helen (Durham) Tracy. He married Sally D. Reichenbach on April 14, 1978. She died March 9, 2016.

He is survived by three sons, Mike (Rachael) Tracy of Cape Coral, FL, Chris (Rachel) Tracy of Spencerville, and Josh Tracy of Lima; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Betty (Harold) Brand, Patricia (Cliff) Woggerman, Carole Bohn, Sue Boes, and Janet (Michael) Coble; and two sisters-in-law, Dorcas Weisenburger and Ruth Tracy. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Weisenburger, Donald (Virginia) Tracy, Paul Tracy, and Richard Tracy; a sister, Lois (Gus) Slattman;  and a brother-in-law, Mark Bohn.

Bill worked for General Motors, Defiance. He was a US Army veteran.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2017 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental. Burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery, Continental with military rites by the Continental American Legion. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
