Bobby L. Early

OAKWOOD – Bobby L. Early, 66, of Oakwood, passed away at 9:19 a.m., Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Defiance Inpatient Hospice, Defiance. He was born March 9, 1959, in Asheville, NC to the late Bill and Pearl (Davis) Early.

He is survived by his significant other, Stephanie Cogswell;  two children: Hailey (Nick) Pittman of Paulding and Sydney (Dalton) Coburn of Defiance; three grandchildren: Declan Pittman, Dawson Pittman and Emery Coburn; three stepchildren: Brandi Mowery, Travis Cogswell and Kasandra Cogswell; three step-grandchildren: Jackson Keller, Mackenna Keller and McKinley Keller; two siblings: JoAnn Labb and Michael (Tammy) Early of Fairview, NC; and a sister-in-law, Deb Graham of Fairview, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Billy Early; and a brother-in-law, Andy Labb.

Bobby owned and operated Early Drywall. He enjoyed fishing and going for coffee at the Landing Strip. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and Facetiming his girls.

Funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood with Cheri Estle officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
