Bonnie Jean Higley

OTTAWA - Bonnie Jean Higley, 68, of Ottawa,  died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born May 27, 1952 in Bluffton to the late Donald and Rowena (Hines) Welch.  On April 28, 1979, she married Phillip Higley, who survives in Ottawa.  They were married for 42 wonderful years.

Other survivors include a sister, Nancy Welch of Gahanna, a brother-in-law, Leroy (Patricia) Higley of Weston and a sister-in-law, Susan Wueller of Auburn, IN.

Bonnie retired from G.V.S. Filtration Inc., Findlay in 2019. She was a member of the Classic Mustang Club of Ohio and enjoyed reading romance novels and roller skating.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, with Pastor Denny Coates officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic.  In keeping within social distancing guidelines, visitation will be Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.  Masks will be required upon entering the funeral home.
