Bradley M. Wentz

GILBOA - Bradley M. Wentz, 16, of Gilboa died 12:24 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 as a result of an auto accident in Hancock County.  He was born July 24, 2000 in Lima to Nicholas Wentz and Casandra Bennett.  His father and step mother, Kendra survive in Gilboa.  His mother and step-father, Joe survive in Findlay.

Other survivors include siblings: Cole Wentz and Lexi Wentz both of Gilboa, and Landon Bennett and Savannah Bennett both of Findlay; paternal grandparents: Wayne (Bonnie) Hector of Gilboa, Barbara Wentz of Leipsic, Kathy (Ron) Kaufman of Gilboa, Ron Wentz of Tiffin, James (Brenda) Beutler of Columbus Grove and Kim (Yolanda) Von Lehmden of Ft. Jennings; maternal grandparents: Jack (Pat) Fancher of Ada, Jackie Kent of Ada, Charles (Glenda) Bennett of Leipsic, Kathy (John) Derosa of Leesburg, FL, Lonny Kent of Bluffton and Rose Resnik of Perrysburg; and he was loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Darrell Kent and his great-grandfather, Arthur Wentz.

Bradley was a Junior at Pandora-Gilboa High School and Millstream Career Center, Findlay. He was a member of the P-G Football Team, Pounding Hooves 4-H Club, Junior Leadership, Cedar Creek Church and a volunteer for Challenged Champions Equestrian Center. Bradley had also participated in track and field at Pandora-Gilboa. He enjoyed helping with farm work for Five Star Ag and also side jobs for BB&D Painting.

His contagious smile and laughter will be missed dearly. Bradley made friends with everyone and loved helping others, no matter the task.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Pandora -Gilboa High School with Chaplain Joe Hartman officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the high school.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Putnam County 4-H Program or Pandora-Gilboa Athletic Department. A fund has also been set up in his name Bradley Wentz Memorial Fund.
