Brian E. Ellerbrock

OTTAWA - Brian E. Ellerbrock, 64, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.  He was born October 5, 1960, in Lima to the late Thomas and Norma (Vennekotter) Ellerbrock.  On December 12, 2005, he married Diana Hockenberry, she survives in Ottawa.

Brian is also survived by children: Lee (Christine) Ellerbrock, Elizabeth Ellerbrock, both of Ottawa, Charles (Amie) Gustwiller of Defiance, Maranda Gustwiller, of Springfield, Gloria Gustwiller, and Kali Gustwiller, both of Holgate; nineteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters: Deb (Ken) Knueven and Sue (Mike) Stechschulte, both of Ottawa; and a brother-in-law: Denny Rosengarten.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Ellerbrock and Steven Ellerbrock; and a sister, Nancy Rosengarten.

Brian retired from Campbell's Soup Company after 43 years.  He was also a farmer.  Brian was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, the Ottawa K of C, and Leipsic Hunting and Fishing.  He loved farming and camping.  Brian also loved his 1973 Delta 88.

Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf, with Fr. Matt Keller officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa
