Brian C. Kidd
GLANDORF - Brian C. Kidd, 37, of Glandorf died at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the Putnam County Ambulatory Care Center, Glandorf. He was born April 18, 1976 in Bellefontaine to Robert Kidd and Sharon (Roof) Kidd. His father and step-mother, Nancy, survive in Ottawa and his mother also survives in Ottawa. On September 25, 1999 he married Amy Niese and she survives in Glandorf.
He is also survived by 2 sons: Owen and Austin Kidd both at home; a brother: Chad (Amy) Kidd of Glandorf; nephew and niece: Knox and Quinn Kidd; maternal grandparents: Mildred and Wilbert Roof of Columbus Grove; and his father and mother-in-law: Jerry and Terri Niese of Glandorf. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Gerald and Mary Kidd.
Brian worked at the Blanchard Valley Sleep Disorder Center in Findlay. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Glandorf where he was a former member of the church choir. He graduated from Ohio State University and was an avid Ohio State Fan. Brian loved spending time with his family, his wife and sons were the joy of his life. Cystic fibrosis never took away his zest for life.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a scripture service at 1:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the family for the children's college fund.
