Brian Knott

KALIDA – Brian Knott, 38, of Kalida, passed away at 9:08 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1984 in Lima to Dennis "Denny" Knott and Ann Holtkamp.  His father and stepmother, Denny and Sandy Knott, and his mother, Ann Holtkamp, all survive in Kalida.

He is also survived by a son, Carson Knott at home; maternal grandmother, Virginia Holtkamp of Kalida; and two stepbrothers: Robert (Gina) Karcher of Ottawa and Dennis (Dawn) Karcher of Ottoville.

He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Don Holtkamp; and paternal grandparents: Norm and Dorothy Knott.

Brian was a salesman for Tec-Hackett, Ft. Wayne, IN. He was a die-hard Duke Blue Devil Basketball fan and an avid Ohio State University Football fan.

Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
