Brigido Barrientes

LEIPSIC - Brigido Barrientes, 55, of Leipsic died  5:57 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.  He was born October 8, 1960 in Spur, Texas to Isaac C. and Reyna (Orduno) Barrientes.  His father is deceased and his mother survives in Leipsic.  On November 8, 2003, he married Beth Overmier who survives in Leipsic.

He is survived by three brothers: Rodrigo Barrientes of Leipsic, Daniel Barrientes of Leipsic, and Isaac (Katie Pitney) Barrientes Jr. of Vaughnsville; three sisters: Diana (Tom) Hershberger of Findlay, Leticia (Rich) Elliott of Harrod, and Alicia (Luis) Lomeli of Leipsic; father and mother-in-law: Dr. James B. (Jeanne) Overmier of Leipsic; four sister-in-laws: Kathy Rector of Leipsic, Marsha (Jack) White of Noblesville, IN, Connie (Ron) Phillips of Deshler, and Sandy (Greg) Warnimont of Leipsic; and a brother-in-law: Jim (Sharon) Overmier of Pickerington.

He was a member of Leipsic United Methodist Church, and was formerly a truck driver.  He attended Pandora-Gilboa High School where he was in the class of 1980.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Leipsic United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Weatherly officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be Friday from 2  to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic and Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church.
