Byron A. Gibson
CONTINENTAL - Byron A. Gibson, 66, of Continental, died at 7:10 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2015 at Autumn Court in Ottawa. He was born September 1, 1948 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Marvel (Varner) Gibson.
He is survived by 2 brothers: Kenneth (Dena) Gibson of Arkansas and James (Sylvia) Gibson of Washington State; a sister: Gloria (Douglas) Burg of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: William and Marvin Gibson and a sister: Carolyn Stauffer.
Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Pastor Brad Colley officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Asa Varner Cemetery, Greensburg Township. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
