Carl A. Kehres

CLOVERDALE - Carl A. Kehres, 83, of Cloverdale, died at 7:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born August 12, 1932 in Delphos to the late Ewald and Agnes (Miller) Kehres. On October 11, 1958 he married Marcile Landwehr who survives in Cloverdale.

He is also survived by four children: Lee (Lisa) Kehres of Delphos, Roger Kehres of Wetzel, Oren Kehres of Rockford, and Monica (Roger) Wiseman of Ottoville; two brothers: Vince (Mary Ann) Kehres of Delphos and Denny (Diana) Kehres of Kalida; two sisters: Carolyn (Hank) Schmidt of Osmond, NE and Dorothy (Ron) Morris of Elida; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son: Gary Kehres and daughter-in-law: Betty Kehres.

Carl was a mechanic and was a US Army veteran. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. Carl enjoyed shooting, guns, and fishing.

A Memorial Service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township with the Very Reverend Jerome Schetter officiating. Military rites by Ottoville VFW and Ft. Jennings American Legion will follow the service at the funeral home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
