Carlos Saldana, Sr.
OTTAWA – Carlos Saldana, Sr., 55, of Ottawa died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. He was born October 6, 1956 in Green Bay, WS to Charles and Santos (Aguilera) Saldana. His mother is deceased and his father survives in Ottawa. He was married to Vicki DeVene and they divorced.  He then married Rosalinda Castillo and they were divorced.
He is survived by 6 children: Erica (James) Harper and Emily (Brian) Danner both of McCutchenville, and Carlos Saldana, Jr., Abraham Saldana, Joseph Saldana and Julianna Saldana all of Ottawa; 21 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother: Daniel Torres of McComb; and 2 sisters: Frances Saldana and Janie Saldana both of Ottawa.
Carlos worked at Penske, a division of Whirlpool and had formerly worked at Philips.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012 at Fountain of Life Church, Leipsic with Pastor Juan Salinas officiating. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic, and one hour prior to service at church on Monday. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
