Carol Ann Franks

LEIPSIC – Carol Ann Franks, 80, of Leipsic, passed away at 10:37 a.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born January 8, 1946, in Bluffton to the late Robert and Emma (Russell) Hancock. On April 27, 1968, she married Monroe Franks, who preceded her in death on August 7, 2011.

Survivors include four children: Rob (Dana) Franks of Ottawa, Cindi (John) Coleman of Charleston, WV, Shaun (Chrissy) Franks of Findlay and Mary (Michael Andry) Allison of Loveland; seven grandchildren: Howard, Travis, Tyler, Cody, Cole, Brayden and Regan; three great-grandchildren: J.R., Ivory and Jesse; two siblings: Larry (Suzanne) Hancock of Neapolis and Linda (Denny) Wehrle of Findlay; a special niece, Tammy (Moe) Hashemi of Findlay; and her special friends: Diana Junge of Deshler and Kay Kratzer of Leipsic.

Carol loved doing hair and became a wonderful hairdresser. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Leipsic. Carol loved spending time with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2026, at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor Ruth Carter-Crist officiating. Burial will follow at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
