Carol A. Siebeneck

OTTAWA – Carol A. Siebeneck, 73, of Ottawa, passed away at 12:46 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She was born June 23, 1951, in Lima to the late Robert and Joann (Hermiller) Strauer. On April 20, 1974, she married Harold "Skeet" Siebeneck, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2008.

Survivors include three children: Breanne (Chad) Salsburey of Ottawa, Brooke (Nick) Sizemore of West Liberty and Tony (Susie) Siebeneck of Warsaw, IN; seven grandchildren; a brother, Rob (Becky) Strauer of Glandorf; and a sister-in-law, Chris Strauer of Kalida.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Steve Strauer.

Carol was the previous owner of The Styling Salon in Glandorf. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa, Ottawa Eagles Auxiliary, Ottawa American Legion Auxiliary and was an Ottawa Memorial Park Board Member. She enjoyed gardening and traveling. Most of all, Carol loved spending time with her family, especially following her grandchildren's activities.

Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 a.m. on Thursday,  August 1, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and one hour prior to mass on Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. A scripture service will be held at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
