Carole A. Edelbrock

OTTAWA - Carole A. Edelbrock, 80, of Ottawa, died 10:35 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton.  She was born March 28, 1938 in Ottawa to the late Elmer and Wanda (Murray) Gerding.  On May 14, 1960, she married Richard "Dick" Edelbrock and he survives in Ottawa.

Other survivors include two sons: Scott (Gwen) Edelbrock of Ottawa and Brian (Cheryl McCormick) Edelbrock of Bluffton; three granddaughters: Lisa Carnes, Nicole Edelbrock and Kathleen Edelbrock; and three siblings: Edward Gerding of Florida, Janice Busser of Kalida and Rosie Gerdeman of Louisville, KY.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Gerding.

Carole was co-owner of Sears, formerly in Ottawa.  She also volunteered for 25 years at St. Rita's Medical Center.  Carole enjoyed painting and was in several card clubs throughout the years.

Private services will be held at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with a private burial at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the Parkinson's Foundation: 150 W South Boundary St, Perrysburg, OH 43551.
