Carolyn E. Warnecke

KALIDA – Carolyn E. Warnecke, 82 of Kalida died 12:02 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at The Meadows of Kalida.  She was born December 3, 1940, in New Cleveland to the late Edward and Loretta (Rump) Brickner.  On October 8, 1960, she married Robert Warnecke who survives in Kalida.

Other survivors include four children: Randy (Myra) Warnecke, Rick Warnecke both of Kalida, Kimberly (Gary) Ellerbrock of Glandorf and Kevin Warnecke of Kalida; three granddaughters: Kristen Ellerbrock,  Kerri Ellerbrock and Kassie Warnecke; a grandson Andrew Warnecke and a sister, Betty McNulty of Toledo.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers: James Brickner and Howard (Julia) Brickner; and a brother-in-law, Jerry McNulty.

Carolyn was a telephone operator and a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church and its Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

Funeral mass will begin at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 8, 2023, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME Jackson, Twp.
