Carolyn S. Deters

GLANDORF – Carolyn S. Deters, 83, of Glandorf died 2:32 p.m., Friday, May 5, 2023 at The Meadows of Ottawa.  She was born August 13, 1939 in Lima to the late Albert and Genevieve (Kuhlman) Deters.

Survivors include five siblings: Marilyn Schnabel of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Kathleen Jones and Elaine Stoepfel both of Glandorf, Lois (Tom) Baratko of Springboro, and Terry Deters of Lebanon; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Deters; a sister, Annette Gorman; and three brothers-in-law: Keith Schnabel, Terry Jones and Mark Stoepfel.

Carolyn retired from Marathon Oil Company in Findlay.  She was a member go St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf and its Altar Rosary Society, and the Neil Diamond Fan Club.

Funeral mass will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 11, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Matt Keller officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday.

Memorial donations may be given to the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.
