Carolyn J. Nussbaum

NEW HAVEN - Carolyn J. Nussbaum, 77, of New Haven, IN died at 8:05 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Ft. Wayne, IN. She was born June 28, 1941 in Hamler to the late Rudolph J. and Virginia (Mollett) Dibling. On June 4, 1960 she married her high school sweetheart, Gerald F. Nussbaum who died June 14, 2007.

She is survived by four children, Robert (Denise) Nussbaum of Oconomowoc, WI., Jean (Brian) Elick of Ft. Wayne, IN., Charles (Debra) Nussbaum of Columbus, IN., and Rebecca Hutchins of New Haven, IN.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Margaret "Peg" Ducey of Ottawa. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Dean Dibling.

Carolyn was a retired realtor in Defiance. She graduated from Sts. Peter and Paul High School, Ottawa in 1959. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Ft. Wayne, IN.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Ottawa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to the mass on Saturday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa. There will be a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
