Carolyn M. Kruse

OTTAWA - Carolyn M. Kruse, R.N., 78 of Ottawa died at 7:52 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

She was born July 6, 1937 in Lima to the late Walter and Lucille (Brinkman) Fischer.  On October 29, 1960, she married Eugene Kruse and he survives in Ottawa.

Survivors also include 5 sons: Dennis (Jamie) Kruse of Fishers, IN, David (Lisa) Kruse of Dublin, OH, Daniel (Vicki) Kruse of Columbus, IN, John Kruse of Wilmington, DE, and Andrew (Denise Fonaugh) Kruse of Fishers, IN; 11 grandchildren: Erin Whitaker, Stephanie (Josh) Dewitt, Matthew, Hanna, Henry, and Marissa Kruse, Emma, Kaitlyn, Madelyn, and Nicholas Kruse, and Jessica (Tad) Kilburn; and a sister: Joyce (Merrill) Raye of Ottawa.  She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren.

Carolyn was a Registered Nurse for  nursing homes in Berne, Indiana.  She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and its Altar Rosary Society.  She was a 1958 graduate of St. Vincent's School of Nursing, Toledo.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Rick Friebel    officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
