Carolyn M. Parys
COLDWATER, MI - Carolyn M. Parys, 75, of Coldwater, MI., formerly of Ottawa, died at 12:26 a.m. Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, In. She was born December 30, 1937 in Glandorf to the late Albert and Leona (Schmersal) Maag.
She is survived by 5 children: Timothy (Darlene) Parys of Bowling Green, KY, Richard (Denise) Parys of Ottawa, Craig (Janet Gascho) Parys of Coldwater, MI, Brian Parys of Coldwater, MI, and Leah (Gary) Koenig of Glandorf; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers: Clayton Maag of Leipsic and Mike (Angie) Maag of Ottawa; and 2 sisters: Bernice Dreup of Delphos and Georgie Ann (Art) Westrick of New Bavaria. She was also preceded in death by a brother: William Maag and a sister: Jeanette Dangler.
Carolyn was retired from Philips, formerly of Ottawa. She enjoyed spending time with her family and living at the lake.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2013 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating.   Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
