Catherine M. McGraw

FORT JENNINGS - Catherine M. McGraw, 78, of Fort Jennings, died at 10:51 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 2021 at her residence.  She was born December 24, 1942 in Fort Jennings to the late Henry and Lauretta (Ellerbrock) Broecker.  On November 5, 1966 she married Ottmer Landwehr.  He preceded her in death on October 27, 1970.

Catherine is survived by three children: Brenda Beining of Ottoville, Marcia (Alan) Miller of Ottoville, and Gina (Rick Macpherson) Shaw of Fort Jennings; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one on the way; four brothers: Charles Broecker, Roger (Alice) Broecker, Paul (Jo) Broecker, James (Jeanette) Broecker, all of Fort Jennings; and one sister: Betty (Richard) Miller of Ottoville.

She is preceded in death by three siblings: Ruth (Norbert) Grote, Don (Rose) Broecker and "Butch" Louis (Celeste) Broecker.

Catherine was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Jennings. She was very spiritual and took solace in prayer and spending time in church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to go to Grandparents Day at her grandchildren's school. She was an avid baker and loved cooking for others. Catherine was also a member of Fort Jennings American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Charles Obinwa officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's  Cemetery, Ottoville.  A private visitation will be held. Due to the restrictions regarding COVID 19, masks will be required upon entering the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.
