Catherine H. Brinkman
Ottawa -- Catherine H. Brinkman, 82, of Ottawa, died 3:55 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014, at the Meadows at Putnam Acres. She was born August 21, 1932, in Paulding, to the late Gerald and Lucille (Osenga) Matson.
She is survived by 3 children: Shane Brinkman, Jody Horetski-Brinkman both of Ottawa, and Taffy Moening-Brinkman of Cridersville; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 siblings: Orley (Pat) Matson and Norma Priest both of Cloverdale; and a half brother: Jack Matson of Van Wert.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Ron and Nolan Matson.
Cathy was retired from Phillips Display of Ottawa, after 44 years of service. She loved gardening, sewing, and bird watching. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa, with Deacon Jim Rump officiating. Burial will follow at Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
