Cayla Lynn Fortman-Ross

FINDLAY – Cayla Lynn Fortman-Ross, 30, of Findlay, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Blanchard Valley Medical Center, Findlay.  Cayla was born on June 4, 1991 in Lima to Randy and Tina (Meyer) Fortman, who survive in Glandorf. On July 6, 2019, she married Logan Ross, who survives in Findlay. On Feb. 18, 2022, they welcomed Luna Lynn Ross to the family.

Cayla is survived by one daughter, Luna; two siblings: Craig (Kara) Fortman of Worthington and Carie (Jeff) Taschler of McComb; a grandmother, Ann Fortman of Charlotte, NC; father and mother-in-law: Martin (Lisa) Ross of Westerville; and sister-in-law, Makenzie Ross of Westerville.

Cayla had a passion for adventure and traveling. Her favorite hobby was filling her house with plants. She was known for her independent, free spirit and loving heart. She was the executive director of FOCUS: Recovery and Wellness Community in Findlay. She was passionate about helping others and never judged anyone. Cayla was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf.

A funeral mass will held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Glandorf with Fr. Tony Fortman officiating. Burial will be at a later date in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3 – 7 p.m. on Friday with a scripture service at 2:45 p.m. and 9 – 10 a.m. on Saturday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorial donations may be made to FOCUS: Recovery and Wellness Community in Findlay.
