Charlene M. Roberts
Bradenton, FL – Charlene M. Roberts, 88, of Bradenton, FL died 3:30 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Putnam Acres Care Center. She was born March 27, 1924 in Columbus Grove to the late Charles and ViEtta (Grismore) Bryant. On April 15, 1967 she married Thomas Roberts, who preceded her in death on April 2, 2006.
She is survived by her daughter: Carol S. (Donald) Farthing of Leipsic; 3 grandchildren: Michael (Denise) Ritcher, Tatia (Dean) Langston, and Curtis (Sharon) Farthing; and 7 great-grandchildren: Erika and Drew Ritcher, Amikla Langston, and Morgan, Audrey, Paige, and Grant Farthing.
Preceding her in death is a brother: George (Florence) Bryant; and 2 sisters: Doreen (Doyle) Ward and Pauline (Raymond) McMonigal.
Charlene was a homemaker and enjoyed sports and crossword puzzles. She was a huge Ohio State Buckeye, Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengal's fan. Her favorite nurse at Putnam Acres was Jean McMonigal, her niece.
Charlene will be cremated and her burial will take place at a later date in Florida Veterans National Memorial Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
