CHARLES LEONARD BENNETT, JR.
WEST LEIPSIC - Charles Leonard Bennett, Jr., 50, of West Leipsic passed on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 6:32 a.m. at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 14, 1963 in Lima to Charles and Glenda (Berger) Bennett, Sr. who survive in Leipsic.  He is also survived by his wife of 17 years, Shelly Fackler of West Leipsic; a daughter: Danielle (Rey) Bullock of Ottawa; five brothers: Bernie Bennett, Michael (Paulette) Bennett, Richard Bennett, and Allan Bennett, all of Leipsic, and Brian (Stacy) Bennett of Glandorf; two sisters: Dawn Funk and Jami (Brian) Fleck, both of Leipsic; 19 nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Louis Bennett and Helen Gossman; maternal grandparents: Robert and Margaret Berger; and a grandson: Israel Rey David Bullock.
Charles worked for Tooman Roofing of Leipsic and loved to do paintings.  He attended Leipsic High School.  He loved the Dallas Cowboys and was an avid Michigan fan.  He enjoyed being with friends and family and they will sadly miss him.
Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013 at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with Pastor William Patterson officiating.  Burial will follow in Center Cemetery, West Leipsic.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and noon til the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
