Charles H. Keel
CONTINENTAL – Charles H. Keel, 81, of Continental died 6:23 a.m. Sunday March 4, 2012 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice.  He was born September 24, 1930 in Van Lear, KY to the late Kermit and Lucy (Vires) Keel.  On March 13, 1958 he married Sharon Noon.  She survives in Continental.
Also surviving are his children:  Nick D. Keel of Defiance and Amy J. (Steve) Kauser of Paulding; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and a sister:  Dorothy Slone of Kentucky.
Preceding him in death are 3 brothers:  Merman Keel, Roger Keel, and Bobby Keel and a sister:  Judy Meade.
Charles retired from Dinner Bell, Defiance where he had been a meat cutter.  He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Ayersville.
The funeral service will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental.  Pastor Andy Shafer will officiate.  Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery at a later date.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
