Christeen Irene Ford
Grover Hill - Christeen Irene Ford, 91, of Grover Hill, died 1:47 p.m. Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Van Wert In-Patient Hospice.  She was born September 27, 1923 in Grover Hill to the late Thomas Edward and Christeen (Winters) Taylor.  On September 28, 1944 she married Wendell Robert "Bob" Ross who died September 22, 1958.  Then on January 29, 1972 she married Everett R. Ford who died September 22, 1985.
Christeen  Irene is survived by her 3 children: Carolyn Sue (Jerry) Aldrich of Sebring FL., Connie Lou (Keith) Wilson of Englewood, FL., Roberta Irene (Irv) Tabler of Garner, NC.;  5 step-children: Deloris May (Harvey) McMillen of Van Wert, Norma Jean Slattman of Continental,  Zelma Ruth (Gary) Black of California, Lawrence "Mike" (Adean) Ford of Continental and Robert Lee (Ruth Ann) Ford of Oakwood; 10 Grandchildren; 15 Great-grandchildren and 4 Great-great-grandchildren and 1 brother: Nolan Richard (Joy) Taylor of Van Wert.  She is also preceded in death by: 2 step-daughters: Leannah Marie Bohn and Katherine Ford; 2 step-sons: Henry "Butch" Ford and Paul Ford; 4 brothers: Ronald, Willis, Edward and Leland Taylor and 1 grandson: Tom Carnahan.
Christeen Irene was a retired farmer and a  member of Grover Hill Church of the Nazarene..
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood, with Rev. Paul Miller officiating.  Burial will follow in the Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.   Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to service on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Kentucky Mountain Bible College in Jackson, KY.
