Christopher C. Solsman

VAN WERT – Christopher C. Solsman, 69, of Van Wert, died at 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Van Wert Manor. He was born September 29, 1955, in Cincinnati to the late Victor R. and Anna Belle (Armbruster) Solsman.

Survivors include a daughter, Christy Solsman of Van Wert; two stepdaughters: Rose Boyd and Jamie Boyd, both of Van Wert; and ten grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Ann Hammons; and a brother, Leo Solsman.

Christopher worked in retail sales for DC. He loved horses, being outdoors and farming.

No services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township.
