Cindy Kuhlman

OTTAWA - Cindy Kuhlman, 62, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at The James Hospital, Columbus surrounded by family. She was born November 9, 1959 to the late Alfred and Jean (Kaple) Giesige. On September 7, 1985, she married the love of her life, Steve "Rebo" Kuhlman.  They were married for 36 years.

She worked at ProTec for 25 years, retiring in 2018. Known for her annual Hawaiian pool parties, Cindy never missed an opportunity to enjoy her backyard oasis with family and friends. She spent her retired moments vacationing, dancing at the winery, visiting her boys and spoiling her grandkids.  Of all titles in her life, "Mamaw" was the one of which she was proudest.  Cindy was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ottawa.

Survivors include three children: Kyle (Stacey) Kuhlman of Westerville, Brent (Kristina Ouellette) Kuhlman and Trevor (Kirsten) Kuhlman, both of Lewis Center; two grandchildren: Camden and Sydney Kuhlman; a brother and two sisters: Jerry (Tammy) Giesige, Joanie (Pat) Langhals and Patty (Mike) Jerwers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Deb Kuhlman.

Funeral mass will begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Father Scott Kramer officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held 2 - 8 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa as well as Saturday one hour prior to mass.  There will be a scripture service on Friday at 7:50 p.m. at the funeral home. Masks will be required upon entering the funeral home and church.
