CLARE E. GRISMORE
COLUMBUS GROVE - Clare E. Grismore, 60, of Columbus Grove, died 3:00 a.m., Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Hilty Home in Pandora.  He was born October 31, 1953 in Bluffton to Herbert and Velma Marie (Bishop) Grismore.  His mother is deceased.  His father and step-mother Dorothy Jane (Cherry) Grismore survive in Bluffton.  In 1974, he married Wendene (Welty) Grismore and she survives in Pandora.  On July 8, 1994, he married Mary (Desenberg) Kanode and she survives in Findlay.
Also surviving are three daughters: Emily (Brian) Meyer of Columbia, MO, Kelli (Matthew) Bailey of Pickerington and Rachel Grismore of Findlay; 3 grandchildren; a brother, David (Teri) Grismore of Pandora; a sister, Charlotte (Bill) Adams of Huntertown, IN; a step-brother, Tom (Chris) Cherry of Columbus Grove; and a step-sister, Chris (Mark) Capper of Fort Wayne, IN.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Anthony Grismore; a daughter, Sarah Parsons; and a step-sister, Barb Cherry.
Clare worked in the shipping and receiving department for 22 years at Metokote in Lima.  He was a lifelong farmer who loved the outdoors, motorcycles and spending time with his family.
Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2014 at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Rev. Rick Hart officiating.  Burial will follow in Harman Cemetery, Gilboa.  Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 Thursday and one hour prior to the service Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
