Clorice J. Chandler FORT JENNINGS – Clorice J. Chandler, 83, of Fort Jennings, passed away at 9:32 a.m. on Monday April 7, 2025, at the Meadows of Kalida.  She was born on December 15, 1941, in Jackson Township to the late Oscar and Rachel (Adams) Rayle.  On August 30, 1958, she married Clifford Chandler, he survives in Fort Jennings. Clorice is also survived by two sons: Mitchell (Tracie) Chandler of Cloverdale, and Douglas (Tina) Chandler of Fort Jennings; a daughter: Suzanne (Ken) Decker of Ottawa; a daughter-in-law: Jane Schlegel; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; a sister: Clarice Byrne of Ottoville; and five half-siblings: Jay, Mike, Rick, Deb, and Don. She is preceded in death by a son: Mike Chandler; a brother: Fred Rayle; and a brother-in-law: Gene Byrne. Clorice was a member of New Hope Christian Center, Lima, where she served as an Elder. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, at New Hope Christian Center, 2240 Baty Rd. Lima, Ohio 45807 with Pastor Jim Menke officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Fort Jennings.  A visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township, and again on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
