COLETTA B. NIESE
LEIPSIC – Coletta B. Niese, 91, of Leipsic, died 4:40 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay.  She was born August 15, 1921 in Leipsic, to the late August and Elenora (Smith) Schroeder.  On June 12, 1951, she married Harold F. Niese and he died May 14, 1996.
Survivors include her children, Marvin (Diana) Niese of Leipsic, Janet (Mark) Meyer of Leipsic and Colleen (Jim) Phillips of Indiana; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers; Justin (Kate) Schroeder of Leipsic and Ronald (Edith) Schroeder of Leipsic; and a sister, Bernadette (George) Burke of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by 7 brothers: Dennis Schroeder, Saturninus "Barney" Schroeder, Cletus Schroeder, James "Jake" Schroeder, Guido Schroeder, Hyacinth "Jack" Schroeder and Valen Schroeder; and a sister, Geneva Snyder.
Coletta was a homemaker.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic and its Alter Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia.  She was a wonderful cook who enjoyed baking, canning and gardening.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday. May 21, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic with Fr. George Wenzinger officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Leipsic with a rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to masses or to the St. Mary's Building Fund.
